Quote] My OH has come home this evening with a present for me... apparently my squealing disc brakes on my mountain bike at the weekend were annoying him, so he has been to the bike shop and purchased me some "no squeal brake cleaner"[/QUOTE]

He bought it for himself as it was him getting annoyed by the noise, so what's the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Women-ahhhhh

For balance. Guy I work with was asked by his wife what he wanted for his birthday. 'Shark fishing' (he both fishes and hunts). Pointed to a website for a outfit in Wales that does trips.
So the birthday came around and she took him on a spa weekend.

Shamelessly lifted from Twitter today.
Here's a pic from a Lidl checkout somewhere in the UK. Is this the kind of thoughtful guy who might appeal to one of you ladies?
Roses and what looks like an inner tube?
Ah, here are my glasses ... is it a box of outer tubes?

with the miles I cycle, I need all the chocolate I can get... I am not exactly fat at a size 8 waist and my assos cycling kit is too large at size small... leg warmers are causing me problems as well - they are all too large... currently I need more chocolate not the none I currently have! It has to be at least 4 months since I last had a box of chocolates possibly longer because I think it was easter stock being sold off...

I can't find the suitable emicon for this, so please bear with me...

I should be sitting here pulling individual petals out of a daisy chanting, I love him, I love him not...

I would have much preferred a box of chocolates or even a meal out... but brake cleaner? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

thank you for listening... <rant mode off>

I dunno, some people... I took Karen out to a Breast Cancer Genetics (free) lecture last night and when we got home she thanked me for a lovely evening out! There was no hint of sarcasm in her voice and she wasn't near the knife block at the time - we must be getting old...
