My ex MiCL* once bought me brake cleaner. And a can of bike spray. I thought they were blooming good presents. Even better that the A3 laminator she once got me.

No, I'm not being sarcastic.

*the thought occurs that altho in some corners of the internet that is self-explanatory, people on here might need a translation - ex Mother in Common Law, ie my ex's mum/my kids' granny.

If I had needed it and asked for it (like the ream of A4 paper I requested he come home with today) then fine... but as a present and when it is not needed?
(He knows we are trying hard to save money to get back out around the world...)

I gave SWMBO a rolling pin once for Valentine's Day.
Did she use it? If so, how was the ambulance ride to casualty?

Mine gets some twice a month too. Not sure where she buys them from, though :laugh::laugh:

Mr. Goodbody of course. If I caught Mrs. Pie in the sack with the milkman I'd shake him by the hand and wish him the best of luck with her. Tag......you're it!

I've just purchased my own chocolates off a certain website... they should get delivered next week
perhaps (though I doubt it) he may get the hint.

(I don't need to get a whip, there are plenty of them in the cow shed/stables :stop:spent the morning variously fixing IT problems and rounding up a herd of cows to separate a poorly one from the herd - not as easy as you would think and a handy whip is useful for tapping them on the backside when they refuse to move because they know what is coming next!)
