Happened to an old work colleague. Had more than one drink and woke up about 1am.
Unfortunately, he was at Brighton station and he had to wait until after 6am to get the next train back home.
This was discussed on a recent to programme. Not linked to fitness, is a normal phenomenonIt seems to me that, the fitter you get, the more alcohol interferes with your bioryhthms. If I have more than one drink I'm likely to wake up at 3 or 4am. Has anyone else experienced this?
No, I don't drink while riding but if I drink more than 1 beer in the evening I find myself wide awake a few hours later. You training your body to burn alcohol as a fuel?

Yep, I'm just reading up on the effects alcohol has on sleep and recovery, it's very interesting. Some people believe a drink in the evening helps them sleep.. It doesn't, dont fret, avoid it.
A lot will knock you out but that's no good either ..

1pm? That’s pretty good going after an evening teaA cup of tea in the evening and I'm awake at 1pm to go to the loo.
Try green tea. Doesn't have or certainly reduces the effect.A cup of tea in the evening and I'm awake at 1pm to go to the loo.
