Mick Fleetwood has revealed what a bad drummer he is. I found this particularly interesting as I used to spend a lot of time in the seventies visiting the Marquee listing to him and others. He says he can never play the same rhythm the same way twice!

I just thought it’s a fairly major admission to make after you’ve been one of the top bands in the world and recipient of numerous accolades including a Grammy. So you can get to the top of your chosen profession by being bad? I’m sure he add other qualities which helped to compensate.
Perhaps as you get older you don’t mind admitting your failings or perhaps you just don’t care. As he says when he stated off it was very different, as long as you had a drum kit and transport you got the job.

Why do you say that? The Beatles rated him highly and various quotes by other drummers from bands past and present are very complimentary about Ringo.

It just seems to be one of those fashionably clever remarks to make.
