We're you a postman in a previous life by any chance??

Our mob are still at the leg baring in December.. Nutters..
Ha no, but I’d qualify!
It has to be pretty cold to abandon shorts. The Merril neopreney walking sandals are a revelation too! Been toasty on moor and sea....

I did field studies for A-Level geography on Dawlish Warren; in similar weather, I seem to recall.

I spent a lot of the time holding a damp spreadsheet down while trying to write plant names on it, and we had to align the survey with the wind because that was the only way the tape measure was going to go...

We lived in Dawlish about 55 years ago.

A three or four-year-old Pale Rider was playing on that ruddy wall and managed to fall off some large diameter concrete pipes which were being used as part of its reconstruction.

A hospital visit followed, and a sound ticking off from my mother.

Walked along that wall endless times and sat under the eaves of the train station when it rained, ihear the cafe by the rock has been refurbished?
Yep, new owners at the Red Rock cafe who own a cafe in Dawlish, this morning they were heaving a generator into a very small space, nice decked area outside.
Lovely walk along the beach this morning in comparison with yesterday....
