Missing Chain link 9 & 10 speed

Keep meaning to buy some to carry, I have KMC chains, one is 9 speed the other 10 speed is the link the same or do I need separate ones?

Different it seems, given kmc sell in 9 and 10 speed versions

I think 10 is slightly narrower than 9 which itself is thinner than 5-6-7-8 chain
