If you do not like something CHANGE IT! only you can make the difference.

I appreciate the motivational sentiment but one ought be aware also that it's not always as simple as that. I'm thinking particularly of people with families, kids at school, rent/mortgage obligations and living in areas of high unemployment. There's insufficient slack/flexibility in their lives (if I can put it like that) to allow for a change that doesn't cause pain to others. Battening down the hatches and making do is sometimes understandably the best option.

But, yes, if the circumstances allow then shurrup and do it.

Mr6 loathes his job, he rarely actually moans about it though.
I actually quite like mine and I moan daily.
Mr Summerdays hates his job and to make it worse his best member of the team handed in their notice yesterday which has just made him hate it even more. I like my job - might moan about niggles but I wouldn't want to swap it for his any day.

I have had kids since I was 18 and been married to the same girl since then 39 years in total, if the desire and will is strong enough you can find a way, if not stop moaning because that alone will change nothing.

Just stating that I fit the description of the person who Yello says will find it hard to make changes.

I think sometimes being highly educated can limit choice, rather than the other way around. I have no qualifications but have employed many people who have had, maybe that has given me choices that may not exist for clever people.

Dog groomers can whinge with the best of them ^_^ Don't get me wrong, mostly I love my job but I have days where I really consider getting a job Just so I don't have to put up with the bloody customers - the dogs are generally fine.

I am nice and busy with the dog walking side of the business right now and its great, or would bit if it would stop bloomin' snowing. But yesterday I had a chap with 3 dogs and having groomed them (they were in a right stinking state and matted up to the eyeballs and I was there for hours) turned to me and said "I only have a fiver in the house, can I give you that and you collect the rest next time you groom them". As this is the first time in a year I have seen the poor animals I declined his offer and gave him a ride in my car to the cashpoint and back to his home. Added to that, it was one of those homes where you wipe your feet on the way out and I wouldn't dare have a cup of tea there.

Yes, I am self employed and I mostly love it, but we do have days where we whinge. I go on a forum where there are around 1000 of us whinging, moaning, narky women. Mostly we just get on with our businesses but we all have 'those' days and 'those' customers.

I don't doubt for a moment that you fit the description but people, even in the same circumstances, are different. I'm sure you appreciate that.

Cue the manager at the garage screaming down the phone at the manager of the car factory that we are being obstructive - then he puts in a request for 170 Nikon cameras.....so the customer can take pictures of the parts as suggested.......

No Nikon model number, tut tut. ^_^
