In all seriousness though, I think smart phones have a long way to go before I'd worry about them replacing other devices.
My Samsung A5 whilst not top of the range, is no cheapass phone.
Yet, my Canon PowerShot SX20 which must be nearly 8 years old takes far better pictures. It's the lens and full manual control. No optical zoom on a phone either.
My dinky little SanDisk mp3 player is louder, clearer and just sounds better. The fact that it has actual click buttons means I can skip to the next song by pressing said button through my jersey without even having to take it out and look at what I'm pressing. Can't do that with a touchscreen.
I do like the fact that if I'm hit by a tipper truck, when I wake up with my guts leaking from my side's, I can phone the gp and tell him I'm in a spot of bother. Using the phones GPS I can also tell him where I am and ask if he could save my bike too. Priorities you see.
