Some people, poor things, have to work during the week. A sleepless night on the bike is probably not the best preparation for starting the new week, especially as most will have to get back home before working. Why not on a sunday ? the roads were quiet, dry and moonlit.
7.7km from the Dartmoor Devil Arrivée to Bovey Tracey. Proper werewolves out on the moor last night. I like my dynamo lights.[/QUOTE
Where I was riding was so quiet I didn't need lights for a lot of the time I was out for, the moon lit the lanes and path and tracks enough .I do need a dynamo though.![]()
Not if you are a werewolfToo risky, what with the werewolves and all.
Fair point, it was just for a couple of hours, back by 11 and in bed about the usual time. Some people, poor things, have to work during the week. A sleepless night on the bike is probably not the best preparation for starting the new week, especially as most will have to get back home before working.
Only for 5 miles coming back from a friend's house, but still enough to enjoy the moonlight.Any others members go out for a ride in the moonlight last night ?
What's that behind you? @DragoToo risky, what with the werewolves and all.
Just as well. The (70%) moon set before 1am this morning (Helston, Cornwall). I think this site gives the best ephemeral info.it [moonlit ride] was just for a couple of hours, back by 11

I hang garlic from my bars and have never been bothered by a werewolf.

It wasn't a full moon last night. It's waxing gibbous (thank you Google), so no werewolves.Too risky, what with the werewolves and all.
