surely Primal Scram are overrated if anything?!?!?!

Hardly, I have been going to gigs for over 40 years and PS are up there with the best of them.

Roll on next Thursday, PS and Echo and the Bunnymen at the Albert Hall.

Awesome live, seen them three times, if you get chance go and enjoy.

I did have an opportunity but much to my regret, did not (also regret not going to Bauhaus .... and Killing Joke last night )

PS have a good though not huge following hence they are underated as they should be bigger.

Problem is you are wrong, underated due to not having a deserved level of recognition, should be playing at larger venues, should sell more music.

Music is a matter of opinions, Coldplay and Beyonce are huge, I would not bother to seethem if the tickets were free.

Further hair-splitting...Depends how you define recognition, and in many cases whether the band actually gives a toss about 'success'. Plenty of acts have been hugely influential without selling that many records- Kraftwerk perhaps the greatest example (!), but many others have had a brief period of success (in terms of selling out big venues or record sales or both), before reverting to cult status.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!

I first heard them on a 'Radcliffe & Maconie' show, think it was when they walked the 'Jurassic Coast'??, & they played an acoustic set for them

Their version of (Don Henleys) 'Boys of Summer' is wonderful, I think I like even more than Henleys (& that's usually in my top-20 tracks of all time)

I've seen PS a fair few times, mainly at festivals but the only time I've really enjoyed them was on the first screamadelica tour, when to be fair, I was whacked out of my gourd on goofballs.

In my experience, if you're not battered you tend to notice that bobby g couldn't sing his way out of a paper bag.

I agree BG does not have the best voice in rock, thats for sure but the whole PS experience is very very good.

I have seen them at a couple of festivals as well. One time was in a "tent" you didnt need your own stuff just breathing in the air was enough.
