KTM have been saved (for now) by Bajaj Auto (who were 49% stakeholders anyway). Mattighofen is apparently safe as part of the deal (the ‘M’ in KTM).

Hopefully it'll work out OK.
Another KTM is available for sale here. Quite rare and a bit quick (227.5 mph recorded at Mugello). Extremely expensive, and 'for display use only'. So, it's like a painting that drips (motor) oil.

Yes, I read that yesterday, however I think the damage is done. KTM have managed to tarnish what is a great brand.

How are you getting on with your 900XR? I owned its predecessor some years ago, did miles on it, sold it with 58000 miles on the clock!
