So will it be a slow paced procession race around the principality streets all will it be a good race?
It’s never a good race at Monaco.

There was one good one, the year Olivier Panis won

Alex Dunne in F2 is a guy to watch this year. I hope he makes it all the way to F1
His father (Noel) was no mean pedaller of Formula Fords either.
On a similar theme, it was only a couple of years ago that I realised that Alex Albon was the son of Nigel Albon, ex BTCC privateer from the 1990s
More useless information, while the Monaco race has an impressive (given the circuit) 102mph average lap speed, the Indy 500 is on later in the day and has an average lap speed of more than double that at 227mph.
Alex Albon is a bloody good driver and apparently an extremely likeable guy also. D Coulthard rented him a flat in Monaco for a while and when he vacated it he left it in gleaming immaculate condition , DC was very impressed with him . Hope he has a great qualifying in Monaco , I would love to see him do well. Its worth listening to him being interviewed on Beyond The Grid Podcast , all his childhood karting etc recalled in great detail lots of anecdotal stories really interesting. Alex and Charles are my favourite 2 F1 guys. Indy 500 on later the same day , I will be looking forward to Monaco , followed by Indy on Sky F1. My favourite day of the whole year . I would love to see Jack Harvey do well in the 500 , his car isn't quick and he barely made it in this year . Jack and Conor Daly are my 2 favourited indycar guys. Moto GP in Silverstone also on Sunday !!
