I just acquired this 1964 Moulton Stowaway. It needs some serious TLC. It’s going to be great!

Looks to be a nice project. I believe Raleigh borrowed the Stowaway name for the folding Twentys - not sure if it was ever returned ^_^

Got new tires for the Stowaway and most of the cleaning is done. Still have work to do on the frame and fenders but couldn't resist getting it assembled and take it for a test ride. Put on my brooks saddle. I

Good job on that! I found an orange one out for the scrap men and saved it. My mum rides it now. What date is on the rear hub?

I've always wanted to restore a Moulton, you've done a really nice job of that. Have you replaced all the bearings?

The hub bearings were fine. Just cleaned and greased them. I don’t think the bike was ridden much at all.
