I love cycling and I have a half decent Eddie Merckx road bike which I use 100% on the road.
Recently whilst out walking my dog at night I have noticed a lot of mountain bikes without lights. I like to avoid all cyclists whilst walking since I don’t want to get in the way of where they need to go. Why do they not have lights?
You could argue that most idiots ride a mountain bike at night and hence not a true cyclists, I’m pretty sure they might be some chav on a £60 Tesco excuse of a bike.
So I would like to ask all you mountain bike cyclists, would you not put lights on at night? If not, why not?
If you use lights, thank you.
