Mountain bike tyres.

Anyone give me a clue of a decent all-round tyre.Only for son's bike so something that will take some abuse so to speak.

Probally a stupid question but these are 26×1.5 and the tyres on his bike are 26 ×2 will they be ok ?

Depends where he rides most. They will be OK for tarmac and gentle off roading but I wouldn't want to lean the bike into a loose corner with that tread pattern.

1.5's will give a harder ride and absorb less trail chatter. Might not look right but there is no problem using them.
