hi - hoping to get some advice...
I'm loving getting out on the bike this year and have done more miles already than I did in the last quarter of 2015.
I have a number of events lined up for this year and looking for some club rides as well.
I'm starting to wonder if I should look to upgrade my current bike or buy a new one, some info below.
Current bike:
2015 giant defy 2
Upgraded campagnolo zoned wheels:
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/campagnolo-zonda-clincher-wheelset
Schwable tyres
"Comfortable" saddle (jury is out!)
The upgraded wheels and tyres have transformed the bike and I love it, it's a joy to ride and is comfortable for 60 miles.
Now, i may have around £1500 budget for a new bike in the next month or so but the more I read and the more I think about it am I really going to get anything that's noticeable better? I'm starting to wonder if I looked into an upgraded group set and with the frame and wheel and tyre combo I'll still have some spare money left over for some gadgets but actually have at the end an even better bike.
This is all new to me so go easy, hoping to pry into your greater knowledge...
Thanks in advance
Dan
