Mrs Postman was injured at work today. Not her fault and not the fault of her employer either.A third party involved, and he has been told before about doing this.It is all on cctv so it will be interesting to see how her employer deals with it.Cannot say anymore at the moment who was involved. But she fell could not get her hands or arms out fast enough so her nose took the full brunt force, blood everywhere, that is broken and bent to one side,an ENT appointment for next week,as A&E refer to consultant as it is a facial problem, her arm is swollen and very tender she caught the side of a display shelf, she is shook up and resting upstairs.Hospital were brilliant.48 hours total rest.Next week is going to be interesting to see how employer helps her.

Sorry to here that. Best wishes to Mrs p

As the employer has a legal duty of care for its employees and it sounds like this has been breached at the very least i would expect any loss of wages and medical care including surgery medical or cosmetic to be covered by the employer before you even look at compensation .

Get that cctv looked at and copied ASAP. Some systems auto wipe after a little as a few days .

Good luck to you both
+1 on getting the CCTV copied.
Also seek written witness evidence ASAP, people either forget or can’t be bothered a few months later.
Also ensure that the acculident book records exactly what happened and any evidence of previous similar issues are noted. Especially if this third party has been warned before.
Also take photos of injuries, cuts and bruises. That them every few day to show changes.

At some point it will be sensible to speak to a reputable solicitor. There are plenty around.

Indeed, digital systems usually overwrite their hard drive after 7/8, or 28 days. Ensure the guvnirs have reported it to local HSE as a RIDDOR incident.
