I'm not fluent in Excel by any stretch but I can usually get by for what little I use it for.

However, there's one thing I can't seem to do that is winding me up, (I am assuming it's possible).

Whilst typing in a box I want to be able to enter down within the same box and continue typing, thus creating multiple lines of text within the one box, but when I hit enter it just moves the cursor into the next box below. Hopefully that. and the attached picture will make sense and someone fluent in such things can tell me what I'm missing.

T.I.A. :okay:

When you want to start a new line with a cell, press alt and then return

assuming you don't want to use word wrap

Alt return

You might need to manually increase the row height to be able to see it

Edit: 6 minutes and trumped by many posters!
