As long as I breathe, I attack.
I will soon be doing a conversion to drop bar on my subway , i know i need to change the front derailleur to a road mech , does anyone know the clamp size i would need ? and could i get away with a double as i dont use the granny ring or should i go for a triple ?
I have some triple shifters on order .
The brakes are tektro cable discs , would i need brake travel adaptors to make them pull the right amount of cable?

you most probably will as most MTB cable disc brakes are designed to work with V Brake levers which pul significantly more cable than road STIs

Avid make two types of BB7; standard BB7 for v-brake pull and BB7R for road lever pull. If your bike came with BB7s and road levers then they'll most likely be BB7R's.

You will need the triple or it won't shift onto the big ring. Measure the diameter of the seat tube to establish what width of FD band you require.
