As title says I've seen these clothes in sports direct I know they ain't the best but are they any good as I have brought 2 tops and some shorts
it will be better than non-cycling clothes or riding naked. But, it is cheap low quality stuff, so best avoided if you can stretch your budget to something better.

Been looking at the very same thing, the green jacket at £11. Will use it as a pack-away, just in case jacket. For the limited time I will use a can you see me jacket, I'm going for it ! Damm the expense !

Always worth checking out startfitness.co.uk and startcycles.co.uk some great deals to be had, lots of scott clothing at 70-80% off and top quality (although most items in the large or above sizes) and the gloves are very good £30 down to £7.
I think its free delivery over £50 and only takes a couple of days.

I agree, worth picking up a lot of the stuff on Startcycles at the moment. In the men's range it is the larger selections left, unfortunately (for me!) that's not true for the womens!

I have some MF longs. I didn't like the stirrup bottoms to begin with but they seem OK now. I've had them since Autumn and they've done a fair bit of work and they still feel fine. The padding is not the best in the world (or even the best in the street) but I've had worse. I think that they were about £5.99. I like my high vis top, that is still going strong.

Are you a short person, Saluki?
I am reasonably vertically challenged but still found that the MF longs that I bought made me look like Max Wall! Leg wear that is too short was a novel experience for me! They went in the bin.

5'8", I reckoned that as they were cheapish that they would come up small so I got bigger ones. I can get a baselayer under my jersey and I don't like them too tight anyway as they show every cream cake that I have ever eaten  I figured that they might shrink too, hence the larger size.
Maybe I got lucky with my MF longs then as they don't make me look like Max Wall

I must have got a rogue pair then - I'm quite a bit shorter than you! Got a couple of MF tops and they are ok.
Still looking for a decent pair of longs that don't cost the same as a small mortgage!
