My guess is that the flaps on the Longboards are not removeable - probably, they're riveted on. If you don't want flaps, or if you want to customise your own, best take the P45s IMO.

They're attached with the plastic rivets you can see on this page http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/sks-long-mudflap-prod25599/ so should be fairly easy to remove. Replace the rivet with a nut and bolt and you should be able to refit/remove them at will.

I use the SKS chromo's they are great but a bit of a pain to fit. I used an angle grinder to cut the stays made really quick work of them.

Sorry for the delay. My order was late, weather bad and waiting for a day off. Got outside today, washed bike and spent some frustrating time fitting them but I am very happy with the end result so here`s pics as promised...

I am more than happy with the width and im glad I followed advice.
