mudguards for a record sprint

looking to buy some mudguards for the up coming winter season but after searching "mudguard threads" everybody is talking about gaurds for bikes with little or no clearance. My winter hack is going to be a 1980s raleigh record sprint so clearance is no problem. im looking for a tradionally pair of mudguards that wont double the value of the bike

I had some sks on my sprint. They fitted without trouble.

Edit. Just checked and they were Blumels.
