hi
I have bought an rt80 disc braked road bike from Planet X. I was planning to have crud road racers on there durIng the winter, but I didn't anticipate that there is nothing on the fork or at the top of the seat stays to tie them to, where the brakes would normally be. On my other disc bikes, there still are holes in those places, but not on the rt80.

Am I out of options?

Not the end of the world because I have a separate wet weather bike with proper mudguards, but it would be nice to have the option.

They just have sort of plastic straps held together with not great plastic 'bolts'. They are flimsy things and may well rub if running tyres wider than 23s IME

I'd not bother really, but they have ok coverage and are better than nothing. Wouldn't pay the full £30 RRP though

Something like this? Not full coverage but better than nothing. I have used them through winter on one of my road bikes.
I am more interested in protecting the bike than me, so I either will use full length mudguards or not ride that bike at all when wet. But thanks for the suggestion

You could adapt the RR Mk2 to fit, but if you wait a few months we are bringing out a RR Mk3 which will definitely fit
