As the title says really. Went out this morning and came home caked in dirt all up my back.
Are they any particular ones I should be looking out for and how do they fit to the bike??

Thanks

I've had SKS CHromoplastics on my 2011 7.5fx for a while, till the front one broke. I replaced them with the Bontrager NCS mudguards.

They're both pretty decent - the NCS are marginally easier to fit (I had to trim down the metal stems on the SKS with a dremel) but also have a bit more of a rattle.

Bontrager Nebula. Easy to fit and remove and pop off if you get a stick or anything caught in them.

I have SKS on my FX 7.3. I had to curve the stays on the rear mudguard a bit to fit them round the rear rack mounts and the disc brakes but wasn't anything difficult. They have been on 18 months now without issue.

My mudguards on my Ridgeback touring bike scare me! When the tyres pick up a big(ish) stone it scrapes along the inside of the mudguard, making me wonder what if it jams and causes the wheel to come to a sudden stop?! Anyway,i've had them on all summer so it'd be foolish to take them off with autumn around the corner!

The back mudguard has now split in two, thanks to the naff roads around here! I'm going to take the guards off as they seem to cause more problems than solve them!
