I don't understand the whole 'no mud guards is cool' thing! A dirty great stripe of mud up your arse, and back, and all over your front, looks a bit gash doesn't it??
photographed in black and white it's Raphatastic!

btw - I don't get that black stripe up my back, whatever the weather. What am I doing right?

the problem is, it's not just water or mud. it's oil and grease from the roads which you will never get out of your clothes.

do you want to spend a lot more money having to buy new clothes to replace the ones you've just ruined for the sake of £20 on mudguards and not giving a toss what other people think about what you look like?

i have mudguards on both my bikes which means i can ride both all year round and my clothes last for years.

Come on,Mud Guards on A Bianchi-NEVER.I would liken it to Al Capone with Clogs on his feet rather than the Snazzy Shoes & Spats. The only time my Bianchi would ever see Mudguards is if God Forgive if I ever got splatted by a Pre War vehicle whilst out riding on a day that Vintage Vehicles are being paraded.Happy & Safe Riding to you All.

Th epoll stands at 50/50...but it has been drawn to my attention that the voting has been rigged in a desperate and eveil attempt to try to sway me to the dark side of mudguards...its amazing how low some will stoop:ohmy:;);):biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

You have a Bianchi.

You want to ride it. Who wouldn't?

It's wet and dirty on the roads.

Forget your clothes - it would be just wrong to let the bike get dirty, but equally wrong to leave it standing idle.

Of course you need mudguards.

The bike's for riding, not for looking at. (You can look at it while you have your cake).

(And if it has mudguards, it will still be clean and worth looking at when you get to the cake stop).

(No more parentheses).

(Honest).
