That sounds like a good option, so you pull the main guard off from the stays and just pop them back on when you're ready to go?You are thinking about issues with track ends and insufficient space to pull the wheel out? Some use the safety mounts from front mudguards so they can pop the stays out.
Clip on ones are my other option at the minute, used to these on the road bike too.MTb clip on works good enough for me.
Have asked them to fit the chromo guards, will get them to fit the clips if they weren't going to anyway.Secu Clips front and rear. Have had them on since day one on my fixed. Also proper chromoplastic guards.
I need to get some more rear ones as my current ones pop out over big pot holes !
PS If coming over to the dark side, poncy single speed isn't allowed. FIXED ONLY.![]()
True datErm...what you getting @potsy ????? Fitting.. Sounds like it's coming. PS Fixed isn't half as hard as you think - it's better for hills than a single speed.
Wanna be fakenger, chrome bag is next..lolWhat made you go SS/Fixed ??![]()
I had absolutely no idea what "fakenger" meant, when I looked it up [along with hipster which has nothing to do with riding a bike but is used to describe some fixed riders] I found the explanation hilarious.Wanna be fakenger, chrome bag is next..lol
