mudguards with disc brakes - are there some out there that fit out of the box?

Just bought my dad a Carrera Subway with disc brakes and 26" wheels. I want to put mudguards on it but I know from putting mudguards on my Carrera that it was a bit of a bodge job fitting around the brake caliper.

Is anyone aware of any mudguards that can be fitted out of the box without bodging the stays?

Help appreciated.

There are some Sks commuter guards that have a bent stay to fit around a caliper. I've got the 700c version on my verenti. I just added a longer bolt on a 10mm spacer tube on the fork caliper to give me even more clearance.

The only other option is an afternoon wire bending, a right PITA!

Get your fettling tools out mate, how hard can it be to bend a bit of soft metal?
