Horsing it down now. Bit of thunder too.... think I might get the fire lit if I don't need to swim to the woodshed.

My day thus far:

• Woke up at silly o'clock. Even Idiot Dog was still snoring and didn't stir for another hour.
• Decided to do something with the day, only to discover that nobody else wanted to or had already made plans.
• Decided I couldn't be bothered doing anything anyway.
• Nearly keeled over whilst walking the dog. Swore lots but kept going anyway. Repeat and rinse.
• Accidentally bought cake.
• Got home, collapsed on sofa and ate cake.
• Watched Netflix.
• Planted the new addition to the plant collection in the garden. Nearly killed it whilst doing so and accidentally dug up over a few dozen unidentified bulbs in the process.
• Swore lots.
• Checked to see if the landlords could see. Shoved half back in the ground, put the rest in pots.
• Hid pots round the back in a dark corner.
• Collapsed back on sofa and wished I'd bought more cake.
• Watched more Netflix.
• Read posts complaining about the rain elsewhere and decided to sit in the garden and bask in the sunshine, just so I could post to say I am sitting in the garden, basking in the sunshine.

My opinion....bad idea. The referendum was done fairly whatever you think of the result, and this is just poking a stick into an ants nest. Big thumbs down from me.

I signed it this morning but only because I'd just read an interview with Farage from last month where he said he'd contest a narrow result if it was in favour of remaining. Wouldn't have otherwise
