I have just been shown a clutch of photos on FB of 4 year olds 'graduating' from pre-school. They are wearing caps and gowns and are posing for pictures. WTF, when did this become a thing? Someone has found a new way to remove money from parents and make small kids act like adults.

Edit: now seen it on the BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-28399266
Over at our local Coop they've got a display full of 'Thank You Teacher' cards.

Lovely day with amazing views next to the coastguard station. Wish I could go and have a look and see their view.

I thought that I might have had to take my cat to the vets yesterday as she seemed to have gone down hill. But I am glad to say that after a good stroke, a good long look into her eyes she started purring. She licked some food off my finger and we went outside and sat on the path together. She later licked a bit more food off a saucer.
This morning she is a bit brighter and licked some food off a saucer again. I bought some tasty treats for her which she really liked, but I didn't give her too many in case I made her I'll again.

Might just be the weather, often our cats don't seem as enthusiastic over food in the 'summer' (apart from Fifi, she is a little piglet)

Our cat has been a bit off colour. We'd left her for a couple of nights, with dry food and the self timer food tray, but she'd been sick all over the new kitchen floor.

Day off today. Washed and hoovered car, cut grass and looked high and low for a few MTB maps I have for the local area - not found them yet.

Off to the physio in 30 mins, and DHL are delivering a new chain ring for the MTB.
