BBC recipe of the same name.... I'm going to leave it until late afternoon, as we are having another BBQ and we need rolls so it will have to be ready for tonight, otherwise I might have left it going overnight.

Has anyone seen the videos about cucumbers and cats? My son was showing me on his phone - you put a cucumber on the floor behind the cat and when it goes up to it to investigate, it leaps away like a fire-cracker has gone off. Very weird. I'm not sure if all cats react like this. I don't have a cat or I would try it. Anyone here got a cat and a cucumber?

Apparently it could be cruel as its a stress response - and its supposed to be more to do with an unfamiliar object appearing behind them than the fact its a cucumber - so it doesn't need to be a cucumber. Although an alternative theory is that it looks a bit like a snake...

Madam here has been giving me the run around today. Mr Hop has been doing the Benny Hill theme tune in the background. I shall wait until she's slowing down and ready to roost before I try grabbing her again.
Got to dunk her feet in some soapy/salted water, then olive oil and then attempt to slather vaseline over her feet and legs. What could possibly go wrong??
