In contrast to yesterday evening, tonight we're off to the Proms, a bit more my liking. :music:

Mrs. GA backed over a vole in the driveway yesterday. Death by Fiat(Chrysler).

I knew someone who managed to run over her cat (it was asleep under the car in the drive). She panicked and went into reverse and managed to run over it again. For some reason, although deeply upset about the cat, it seemed rather funny - doing something really bad and then making it worse unintentionally.

I don't think I've ever knowingly run over anything.

A neighbour's cat was once washed in the washing machine. She commented on how fluffy it was.

As for hitting things, for some reason I've only hit one pheasant.

You do ironing? I haven't ironed anything for at least 30 years. ^_^
I really don't get people that don't iron.

I have been gardening for Old Mrs Rocky. Unfortunately the news from her doctor is not particularly good. She has bad osteoarthritis of the pelvis and lower spine. This has been causing her constant pain and giving her problems walking. She does have a range of strong analgesics but she seems very reluctant to take them; despite many conversations with the Prof, who has tried to reassure her. I think it is going to be a very difficult next few years.
:hugs:I hope she sees her way to taking them soon to help make her more comfortable.
