Indeed. I may experiment with getting the heavy mudguarded bike into the car and drive down tomorrow instead of training it. It'll save a bit of time and it's probably cheaper too. The minus bit is having for forgo beer. I think tomorrow's ride looks like it was made for beer. Decisions, decisions....

I don't know why, but that sounds a bit saucy. Must be my mind.

For me it was painful. OK, so I wanted to adjust my saddle & so replaced the seat post. However the saddle was tilting in the wrong direction.

I have been gardening for Old Mrs Rocky. Unfortunately the news from her doctor is not particularly good. She has bad osteoarthritis of the pelvis and lower spine. This has been causing her constant pain and giving her problems walking. She does have a range of strong analgesics but she seems very reluctant to take them; despite many conversations with the Prof, who has tried to reassure her. I think it is going to be a very difficult next few years.

I only iron twice a year if I can help it

I find that if you can put most of your clothes that you have washed straight on to hangers you don't need to iron them.

When we arrived at this delightful hotel we were aske which floor we would like to be on, TVC's reply was as far away from the bar as possible-they have live music on Friday evening. We have just heard a small bit that was enough
