I have been gardening for Old Mrs Rocky. Unfortunately the news from her doctor is not particularly good. She has bad osteoarthritis of the pelvis and lower spine. This has been causing her constant pain and giving her problems walking. She does have a range of strong analgesics but she seems very reluctant to take them; despite many conversations with the Prof, who has tried to reassure her. I think it is going to be a very difficult next few years.

I think it is going to be a very difficult next few years.

My downstairs neighbour is a complete cackgargler - kept banging the hell out of things and shouting until after midnight so that I had to sleep with earplugs in and the radio volume up just to shut the loudmouth's noise out. Then I get a call this afternoon from a different neighbour to tell me that the emergency gas engineer needed to get into my flat because downstairs had reported a leak. Probably something he broke last night along with my sleep. Messed my afternoon up completely just to save them calling a locksmith out and breaking into my flat. Little minded squitmuncher.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. I do hope there is a way to help her. Maybe she could agree to just try the stronger analgesia for a few days?

Mrs MY & I went for a short ride. Her saddle was rotating horizontally, mine vertically. Did a bit of tightening when we got home.

I don't know why, but that sounds a bit saucy. Must be my mind.
