Bugger.
I hate shared water & gas supplies.

Someone else (in another house) is in the shower. It means I can't have one yet... The water pressure is fine, the problem is that gas boiler fitted is too small to manage 2 showers running at once and neither will get hot water (or water for that matter).... so I can't have one until they finish.

sounds like you are either on Ubuntu or an iPad or an android tablet. Both of the last 2 have an app which you need to install to test the BB speed. I have no idea what if anything my OH uses for Ubuntu and he has locked himself out of it, so I am burning another DVD for him as we speek. He didn't write down his passwords in the password book :ninja:
You do know you aren't meant to write down or share passwords don't you :headshake:(I am not going to answer any questions which may incriminate me after this point.....)

Yep but humans are humans and it is the lesser of 2 evils and given it is not with the laptop... plus password books don't have to have what the password is for and if someone has found access to our fireproof safe, I doubt they will be interested in the password book. And it is better than them being recorded electronically. Plus they can't be hacked on paper!

I now have some kind of electronic password keeper... Though it started well with me forgetting what the password to access it was..... And I also remember to write some down but not the whole password.... Just the start and a few clues. But normally I have to ask to reset passwords as I've forgotten them:banghead:

Nah, I quit with that one when I left working for the MOD. Default password reset option.
:giggle:

I once worked for a company where your password was always your initials, the companies initials and the last 2 digits of the year you joined. Changing the password was not allowed. I knew what year my boss joined.

Actually I have just realised I'm wrong... The default reset password was Pa$$word01 or was it Password01? I can't remember now.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I've lost the box of christmas cards I know I bought last year because I couldn't find the ones I bought the year before fhat, so I'm going to have to go to town to buy another box of cards. I will probably lose these ones as well after I have posted all the cards.
