Miss K. spent Tuesday evening with young Mr K and his girlfriend. Now I find out in conversation about their evening that the girlfriend is not going to eat any meat on Christmas day but no one told me because they didn't want to make a fun!!! I'm so cross that I wasn't given the chance to make or buy something veggie before I went shopping.
I'm not saying your family is anything like this, but it just reminds me of that scene on The Royale Family when David brings his new girlfriend home and everyone finds it strange that she's vegetarian.

Here for rides.
Nothing says Christmas like a jar of mango chutney.
Tend to be more the maraschino cherries round ours tbh, mango chutney being a staple at Chez Grumpy.

The trouble is, she's been vegetarian before. It's like she dips in and out of it. Last year she ate the turkey and all the trimmings and the pate starter. I just wish that they'd told us.
Anyway, we've been to Tesco and bought a nut roast and some mushrooms for her starter. She'd better eat it!
