It's the CA kicker that gets me....... On its own it smells OK, but the fumes from the reaction with the CA are horrible. I prefer Titebond wherever I can. Slower, but less aggressive. It might be both.![]()

Preparing myself mentally for making some puddings, this may take some time.
As in Christmas puddings? My mum helped me last year and this year will be my first solo attempt! But I may as well save it for a wet day!
Christmas cake is done and maturing nicely.
Mind you I did actually make it last year and never ate it![]()
No trouble at all. Just getting my apparatus set up

Some things are worth doing early ie they'll taste even better. Most stuff can be left until it is actually the correct season.Thread ban for anybody else that mentions the C word before December 1st![]()
Well, you two won't be interested in a home made cake then. All the more for everyone else.@potsy and I have a similar approach to this. Ignore everything to do with C and then perhaps buy a couple of presents at 5pm on 24 Dec.
When are you going to make it?I'm quite happy to eat 25 December cake
Does C stand for chocolate or did you mean cake? I don't know of any other C.
You can't eat any of those.
No time to bake cakes, too busy out riding my bikeNow you are being silly
Potsy will make it for me.
I did......chocolate, cake, chips, cookies, candy, cereal, cheese, chops, cebabs, chicken, curry......
