I've had an exciting day, I spent most of the morning doing housework on my MP3 player, editing tags is tedious, and this afternoon I've cleaned the car.

The saga of the roofers continues.....

So having arrived...they didn't bring enough mortar so they sit on my roof looking at their phone whilst they wait in the sunshine. Then in the cloudy skies then boss turns up as it starts to rain. Big gust of wind and down comes the roof ladder, and the main ladders AND MY porch guttering which has shattered! They have now left for the day again....

Time for a new roofing company?

I feel for you.....we had a guy, let's call him Patrick, for the sake of giving him a name (and because it was his name) who was v. similar a while back. My blood pressure is still recovering.

I haven't got the foggiest and I suspect I need to decide by tomorrow whether they get someone to fix it under their insurance, we knock a bit off the bill (how much is cast iron guttering - ok only 2 meters of the stuff or so), or he fixes it (I suspect he might try to convince us he will upgrade it to PVC!).

Yes blood pressure is rising slightly when I think of it!

Pretty sure it's a llama. I'm sure Countryfile did a bit about them a few months ago. Sounded like a good thing to get into if I remember.
