Mmm, even I don't know what day it is today.
First day back but it's actually the 3rd day of my 4 day set, maybe it's Thursday?

I am going to my shed, whereupon I will pedal myself bored in about three minutes but will try to do at least an hour or so after that. Mince pies don't burn themselves away apparently.

My daughter thinks she has a rat in her kitchen. Her fiancé, a big meaty muscles-and-macho man, is afraid of rats so went out to buy an air rifle. Now her washing machine has broken down and the pump needs cleaning. Fiancé isn't going to help, even armed with an air rifle, so I'm going to have to go over this afternoon and give her a hand. I hope I don't get shot.

He knew I was getting it... although he disapproved he wanted to play with it.

It's justifiable (I think) as I use my iPad a lot for work (it's easier than getting out a laptop and firing it up), particularly when I'm on the go, in hotels, doing hospital visits, etc.

laptops are so bloody slow to start up and bulky after ipads..android tabs etc..
hard to imagine not having these things now..

I've just paid £131 for antimalarials. Bloody expensive to stop those little critters.

You could get a good bottle of wine for that sort of money.

Apparently ASDA was the cheapest place to get them a few years ago.

I've just remembered along with the indoor decorations to come down, there are the baubles on the outside tree.... But I'll get soaked in the process!

The sun came out, and I nipped out and removed them all, so at least that's one thing ticked off the list!

When we went over to see our son today we decided to use the bus, we both have free passes, what a palaver, an hour and two buses each way, the car takes twenty minutes each way.

They're convenient as well. I also managed my first bike ride this year, post office and back.
