It is for so much more than toast! As well as the aforementioned crumpets, then another staple in my life is a cheese and marmite sandwich, closely followed by dairylea and marmite on digestive biscuits.
Him Indoors is a fan of corned beef and marmite sandwiches as well.
Many things I may be, but sad and lonely is not one of them. I am a proud marmite eater.
