I went to the local fete yesterday. I bought three tickets for the main raffle - abd won two prizes.

Unfortunately one of them was a cycle helmet and cycle jacket....

Wet morning. Gwen my cat is refusing to eat or drink, she did have a tiny bit of cooked fish yesterday but it wasn't much. We have offered her some bits of food which makes her lick her lips but that is all. I have given her cuddles which make her purr and smile but she still won't eat. I will have to think of what food she really liked.

Gwen probably needs a visit to the vet here. I think @coffeejo is right here, esp. the not drinking aspect. (I've had to keep Maximilian and Heidi away from the dog day care all summer, and watch their associations with other dogs, and what they get into, due to the epidemic of canine influenza in my county this summer).

I have tried on my holiday clothes and remarkably they all still fit. Just a new pair of white trousers to buy, my wedding pair are a little snug over the posterior - clearly I'm carrying some extra muscle bulk in my quads due to the high levels of block training I've been doing.

I must remember that excuse, I just put my jeans being a bit tight down to having a fat arris these days.

I'd be perfectly happy if I was eating a candlelit meal and the woman I was with had white trousers on.

Already sort of starting to transition out of summer here, as the heat waves are getting shorter, and less intense, but more humid. This will probably be followed by dry warm weather that transitions a bit cooler as August wears on. That's okay, I am so over this heat and humidity thing.
