Does anyone know how to find out what a piece of instrumental music is when you don't know what it is called. It had been used as backing for adverts and on Top Gear, it sounds as though it is made by rubbing fingers around the rim of a glass.

If you know the advert then search on that and the advert production company website may have all credits listed.

I've just been out the back and its very autumnal this morning, bright and sunny though a bit fresh.

We had a roost ring on the radar yesterday, just a bit after dawn. Roost rings ocurr when so many birds flock together as fall approaches that they make a ring on the radar radiating out from where they roosted overnight.

I knew someone who managed to run over her cat (it was asleep under the car in the drive). She panicked and went into reverse and managed to run over it again. For some reason, although deeply upset about the cat, it seemed rather funny - doing something really bad and then making it worse unintentionally.

I don't think I've ever knowingly run over anything.
