I sat down ... With a bump ... During a phone call, luckily to my sister as I may have uttered a few swear words!

It was about 20 + years old!

Just a regular mundane day sat outside in the sunshine when all of a sudden a lot of shouting disturbs the peace and quiet. I wandered around the front thinking one of the neighbours was having a row only to find two police cars had stopped a car in the street and were pointing guns at the driver. On closer inspection of my picture I saw that one of the policemen had trainer printed on his high vis jacket.

That's a bit drastic pulling a gun just because someone stood on your hi viz.

I would but I'm currently reclined in a cheapo sun lounger and an just waiting for its price tag to make itself known.

we have had a number of those undignified chair collapses over the years.... Though usually to others in the family! With those canvas sling chairs being the prime culprits!

There's another 2 queuing in get into the site.
This is going to be the daily occurrence for a fair old while. At least they haven't far to travel. The concrete works is at the top middle of the picture.

Wouldn't it be easier just to run a great big bloody pipe from the works to the site

I quite like a walk but I tend to potter and stop to look etc etc. That's probably better than no walk but the benefit only accrues, I think, if one strides it out so that bones and muscles get tugged

I mostly bimble, unless I'm late for something. Idiot Dog and I are well suited.
