My weather machine tells me the barometer has risen & that it's going to be sunny. It has been telling me this for a few days.

I'm sure it wasn't as bad as using Tiger Balm and then going for a wee without giving your hands a wash first.

I remember having a really bad cold as a child and my mother covered me in Vick's Vaporub and put me to bed. I got it on my fingers and then rubbed my eyes.

After my laser eye surgery back in April, being a bit concerned about after effects I hadn't been told about and much delay with an after treatment appointment at the hospital, had an appointment with my drop dead gorgeous optometrist today and after a thorough examination, she gave excellent 'don't worry, everything is fine' advice.

Lovely supper of cape hake baked in a parcel with garlic butter and thin slices of lemon, a jacket potato (to sop up all that lovely garlic butter) and assorted mixed veggies i.e. carrots, peas, butternut squash & sweet potato.

The girls had some fish too - basa in their case. Their dishes are empty, every scrap got eaten.

Wifey brought home some individually wrapped units, that resemble that description. but as of yet, none have come across my desk

Easy to make, only three ingredients i.e. plain flour, salted butter and caster sugar.

Poppy's been a greedy little madam. She's eaten her fish, but then she's gone and cleaned out Lexi's bowl as well.

Someone will be mithering me for food in an hour or two...

Spent yesterday evening doing defences from knife and stick attacks.

The back of my neck is very, very sore this morning.

That's one lawn less to mow now .
When the old couple next door were alive i started cutting there front lawn and carried on for the last 15+ years they are both now deceased and the house is going up for sale eventually so i needn't cut it anymore
