SWMBO just fell out of the garden hammock, breaking it in the process.

Oops!

I suggested that it might be because she'd eaten all the dinner I'd made. I chose not to mention that the hammock was starting to tear.

maybe it was a bear that set it up to fail

Ebike in the dog house (if I had one). Evening visit to Waitrose for cheap milk and on the return the front brake went completely soft
Not that long since I bled it. The annoying thing its an office day tomorrow so thats now an unplanned early start to get a parking place.

Today has been a very good day.

50 miles over to Thetford in the sunshine and at a silly average speed (for an oldie) thanks to a mostly tail wind. Lunch, beers and a nice chat with a couple about the joys of walking, cycling and retirement and then a train ride home.

And to top it off was the answerphone message from mum inviting me to a free breakfast at the Suffolk Food Hall on Thursday morning.

Just had a call from the Doctor. He has booked me in for a scan at the main hospital and more blood tests first thing tomorrow.

Of
Don't be alarmed at the speed at which the scan has been booked. You may have just filled another that got cancelled. Don't fret about it, or the blood tests.
I always find those appointments that are scheduled about two weeks later more of a worry. They'll have worked to fit you in as soon as possible.

You've enough blood for the tests!

Lovely supper of cold roast turkey, the last of the bubble & squeak (only a little bit left), a generous side salad of lettuce, spinach, baby plum tomatoes and sultanas, plus a slice of bread to mop up the salad dressing. And a :cuppa: of course.

Listened to Arsenal v PSG (ref needed to go to specsavers, less said about that, the better), watched the snooker, and am now chilling in bed in the company of Madam Chompsky.
