I bought a bike.

Is this a symptom.

Within a couple of metres of home I found a bike for sale.

My pretext was having a bike for visitors.

Now I can dismantle a cassette and get it back together. Thanks to YouTube.

But the rear wheel bearings are a ball short.
Now I don't need packs of hundreds.
Am I about to start a collection of sundry spare bits?

Evening Aldi (for chicken breasts) and B&Q (for wood filler). Had demolished the rotting wooden planter this pm only to find the trellis behind it and the one behind the other planter also not wholly present at ground level. Primer painted on the reminding planter and its trellis where possible. They back onto a garden storage box so that needs emptying and moving.

Had a fabby day stewarding at the Central / Midland joint shows at Stoneleigh. I *did* get walloped by a grumpy entire male British (but that whole row of pens were out-of-sorts), but otherwise, I handled some amazing cats including some stunning torties, as well as some breeds that were a first to me (Tiffanie, La Perm).

Am bloody knackered, and thirsty. Have sunk an entire pot of tea.

Right, well if I am volunteering locally and getting out the house again, I guess I'd better dust down the Brommie and actually use it, seeing as the cycletrack (canal then ex railway) runs nearby to the shop (our area is well served with tracks).

It's a dark blue one and was pulled from use after I crashed it and bent the seat post (it's probably best not to ask... Although large amounts of alcobooze was involved at the time).
ANNYway, it never got fixed, but I'll see to it now! ☺️

The moon's a curious thing. A few days ago just the merest sliver of a moon descended outside my living room window. Over the next few days, time has added a little sliver to it night by night. But if you add sliver to sliver too many times, it becomes less slivery just when you think it should get sliverier.

Anyway, back to the telly.
What's the telly doing!
