My laundry mesh bags finally broke last week, so I ordered some new ones.

I'm sure it will interest members that the new bags zips are colour coded to show the size.

Once I've cooked tea, the rest of the day will be spent with my feet up. Just over 9 miles and just under 18,000 steps into Felixstowe and back with a meander around the car, truck, bus & bike displays along the seafront. At one point during the walk in, I watched a marshal hold up traffic so that one part of the display could leave their rendezvous point and travel as a group to the display area and out of the side road came a couple of dozen Sinclair C5s.

Very breezy, chilly and a couple of light showers passing through so I'm glad I took a lightweight coat.

My sister popped round earlier with her four year old son for some repairs to one of his comfort blankets. It's a small blanket with ribbon tags on it, and they were worn out, so wanted to take it to his aunty for repair. He was rather upset when it started to fall to bits, but is a happy little lad now.

I bought a bike.

Is this a symptom.

Within a couple of metres of home I found a bike for sale.

My pretext was having a bike for visitors.

Now I can dismantle a cassette and get it back together. Thanks to YouTube.

But the rear wheel bearings are a ball short.
Now I don't need packs of hundreds.
Am I about to start a collection of sundry spare bits?

I no longer have a bike. I have a selection of parts and pieces.
They are sorted into usable and to be replaced.

Now I'm wondering if I want to get the frame painted whilst I have the chance.
Of course I will have to find a local artisan to sand blast, treat and paint.
Then, what colour or effect suits the bike and me?
How much money should I be prepared to pour down this amusing black hole?

Time to feed the cat, and then it will be time to feed me.

Elderly relative has activated her care line alarm tonight so being first contact I came over to check on her and she is absolutely out for the count so tried waking her up but couldn't do it , so drove home (7 miles) and get another call as it's been activated again now sat in her lounge waiting for her to wake up so I can explain things..... could be a long night
