We've had rain! The best kind of rain too, overnight rain. Now it's mostly blue skies, fluffy white clouds and sunshine. (Not much use when you're at work to be fair but whatever). The rain was certainly needed up in our neck of the woods.

We got a load overnight too, now the river is much higher than yeaterday.

No sign of the originally forecasted afternoon showers, so I really should go and get myself in a pickle about where to ride to on the ebike, plotting a potential route that's far too long and too hilly for my current abilities.

On our regular lunchtime stroll we acknowledge quite a few of the people who we see .
Today as we walked past a couple emptying plants from there car I said someone will be busy this afternoon , no reply received or given that's the last time I bother talking to them 😞

Another day of here, but temps on the cool side. Needed a long sleeved merino under a long sleeved top for this morning’s ride.

i seem to remember King Charles used to talk to plants.i don't think he ever got a reply,so i would not worry too much.

Mrs P had a few hours break this morning and went out.So i made dinner for me and the father in law.Nothing special,bangers and mash with peas.He ate the lot then followed up with treacle pudding and custard.

My working day is completed.
Just watered the fruit and vegetable plants using water out of one of our butts.
The flowers were watered using a butt that doesn't get much falling rainwater so might not be so clean

i seem to remember King Charles used to talk to plants.i don't think he ever got a reply,so i would not worry too much.

They appreciate the Carbon Dioxide from being breathed on, talking to them is just a way of filling in the time.
