Hopefully it stays that way for you. I remember when Buncefield went up, we heard it, saw the smoke, but otherwise were unaffected.

I was working on the morning of Buncefield and drove down the M1 before it was closed in case it all went kaboom!

According to the radar it should be raining now. I think it might be soon. Dog is snoozing on settee.

On my early morning ride there was no sign of the smoke that we could see last night so hopefully the rain we had last night helped fight the flames

Got home about an hour and a half ago, the first thing I did was to make a large, strong coffee. The overnight bag was then unloaded, restocked and made ready for the next trip on Wednesday.
Sunday is another day out - Snetterton for the BTCC and it looks like it should be breezy but dry.

Early start tomorrow. Booked in to Bodnant Gardens at 9am. With the Laburnum Arch in flower, it's bookings only from mid May to early June to control visitor numbers. We're NT members so it's no charge.

There are times when bike maintenance is simpler with bike upside down. Had cleaned the front pads and rotor of the ebike as it was making quite a noise braking. Pads appeared to be catching and realigning the calipers with brakes fully applied made absolutely no difference.
Battery removed and a near equivalent of toss the caber with it then upside down and my attention suddenly changed from the caliper to one of the mudguards rubbing. That was the problem all along, but pretty hidden from view with the ebike the right way up.

they keep making them thinner & thinner while keeping the price the same or increasing. they used to be good but they barely stay together now because they are so thin. they were good when they first came out years ago

I once won a year's supply of those. 365 bars arrived, all Oats'n'Honey flavour ... but ... with a 6-week shelf life.

I gave most of them away.
