Good morning from an occasionally bright, frequently blustery and (just now) unexpectedly damp Suffolk. Coffee has been had with the last biscuit from the pack, so I'll need to decide what next to open on Friday.
Just over an hour to go and then I'm off for another couple of days of train rides, food, beer and loud music.

One of my neighbours is frying onions. With maybe a touch of garlic. This is making me think of food but I'm not properly hungry. Decisions, decisions....

I was just wondering if the old hairdressers Inthe 60's ran a tool hire business on the side as they seemed to ask the older men if they would like something for the weekend?
Bike, lawnmower, step ladder?
They were usually given small packets! Probably Aspirin?

When I was a kid in the 60s the hairdresser gave me a Blackjack and a Fruit Salad after the cut. This was not reserved for the weekend only.

It's the County Show today and Thursday which is another good reason for being away for a couple of days. It's held about 6 miles away from home and clogs up the roads I use when out on the bike.

Shock horror. Emailed my referral letter for an shoulder ultrasound from my Private Physio to my GP practice. I haven't attempted to book an appointment as the reception gestapo won't let you. They have confirmed they have sent the referral to the GP for review.

oh & I thought you guys in the UK had it easier than the states. I was going around in circles with various drs offices, billing offices, insurance company & credit card company just to find out a recent bill was legitimate. scary tho that the least informed person was at the insurance company :cursing::dry::eek::wacko:
