I just managed to have 2 appointments at the same time with the same nurse. That's a first for me. And a second, now I come to think of it. The receptionist phoned me to call me back for the 2nd 11:50 appointment just after I had left the building from my 1st 11:50 appointment.

I was asked to use the take your own, height, wait and blood pressure machine. They're like a modern version of those ''Speak your weight'' machines. So, coming in out of the rain in a fairly busy GP's waiting room, I was handed a token, and I had to take my shoes and watch off and stick my wrist into an inflatable sleeve. These are not the most relaxing conditions to take a blood test. Particularly as the PA system called me to my appointment (early!) as the machine was still taking my BP. 113 over something. So that was ok but the machine assessed my height as 30 cm short of my actual height.
